'Alexanders'

Alexanders Artbooks' collection is broad, with books of art on painting, architecture, sculpture, design and fashion, and photography. There are deliberately easy-to-read basic and picture books for beginners, laymen and enthusiasts, alongside reference, study and scientific books for diehards and professionals. Most books are written in English, some in Dutch, and maby a few in other languages.

The photo dates from 2016. You can see Sander (christened Alexander in 1962), just after the publication of his scholarly book on video art. Sander has dedicated his life to art. Since 1982, he has been an avid collector of art and art books. He enjoys enthusing others for these through Alexander's Artbooks Shop.

Sander is a Dutch art historian and an experienced author himself on a broad spectrum of visual arts. He is also a painter and successful entrepreneur who, after decades of working in numerous positions in the art sector, is now enjoying life in the beautiful interior of central Portugal. His love for and knowledge of art is sublimated in the collection of Alexanders Artbooks Shop, which is compiled book by book by him personally.
